A home whose rammed earth walls feature a ribbon of differently coloured earth running around the building, an eye-catching, attractive detail that stays interesting without overwhelming.

Craftsmanship highlight

The rammed earth fireplace was created by ramming large stones of the same material within the formwork and filling between them with an earth mix; as the wall rose, we transitioned to smaller stones and finally to soil alone. Open timber beams are a strong, attractive feature and a key driver of the design.
