◆Residential
North Manly Acreage
North Manly, QLD
Project Overview
Perched naturally on the contours of its acreage site, this modern residence makes the most of its surrounding views while remaining closely connected to the landscape. A rich palette of rammed earth walls, timber ceiling panelling, polished concrete floors and rustic tiles creates a warm, grounded material palette.
Project Story
Connection to site
The rammed earth walls anchor the home to its natural surroundings, bringing earthy tones and texture throughout the residence while complementing the property's established landscape.
Materiality
Rammed earth sits alongside timber, concrete and rustic tiles to create a balance of warmth, texture and contemporary detail. The natural variation in the earth adds depth to the interiors and allows the walls to change subtly with the light throughout the day.
Design
Thoughtfully positioned around the site's contours, the home opens to views from every angle while creating a refined yet relaxed approach to modern acreage living.
